Dantu protezavimas
Dantų protezavimas arba restauravimas, tai procesas, kurio metu atkuriamas pažeistas dantis arba nesamo danties vietoje „sukuriamas“ naujas dantis. Ši procedūra gali būti atliekama, kai pacientas netekęs vieno, kelių ar visų dantų. Taip pat tais atvejais, kai dantis yra pažeistas po traumos, nudilęs ar smarkiai pažeistas ėduonies. Jei pacientas turi dalį danties ir jo originalią šaknį, protezavimas atliekamas ant jų. Jei dantis buvo pašalintas su visa šaknimi – tokiu atveju pirmiausia reikalingas dirbtinės šaknies implantavimas, o po to yra parenkami tinkami dantų protezai.
